Romanian Grand Parents on line too

The operative phase of Project Silver is underway: three Grandparents on the Internet courses begin in Iassy.

The first digital literacy course for the elderly in Romania takes place at the Mihail Kogălniceanu High School in Iassy. The course started in June and will last until the end of July.

The Costache Negruzzi High School and the "Octav Bancila" Art College will host two courses in September.

Each course will be attended by 15-17 elderly students and held by 5-7 student tutors and 1 or 2 coordinating teachers. During the course of the upcoming 2009-2010 school year, Project Silver. Stimulating ICT Learning for Active Eu Elders will organise six further digital literacy courses in Romania.
